The Mists have officially parted on a new accessory for the darker side of D&D. Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Map Pack, includes 10 new locations for the Domains of Dread along with a variety of tokens and terrain pieces. The product is available in both digital and physical formats and, as the name suggests, is a tie in to the upcoming Ravenloft: The Horrors Within sourcebook. It will be coming out later this June, but you can pre-order it now from your local game store, D&D Beyond and on Amazon.
So just what terrifying new locales await players and DMs? Below, we map out all the details.

What’s included in the Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Map Pack?
There are two different versions of the map pack, which includes new locations for the Domains of Dread ranging from a graveyard to a haunted manor and mad scientist’s laboratory.
Physical Version
- 5 physical double-sided poster maps (22” x 30”)
- 93 physical monster tokens, traps and terrain pieces

Digital Version
- 10 digital maps for D&D Beyond
- 10 digital stickers
It’s worth noting that the physical version only contains half of the total maps of the digital version, which seems like a bit of an odd move on the part of Wizards of the Coast (although you do get the printed tokens).

How much is the Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Map Pack?
The physical version of the map pack retails for $24.99 USD (not including shipping and handling), while the D&D Beyond digital version is $9.99 USD. Notably, you can also purchase a Digital + Physical Bundle that retails for $34.99 USD.
When is the Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Map Pack coming out?
Both the physical and digital version will be released on June 16th, 2026 to coincide with the release of Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. It will also be a featured accessory for the new Season of Horror that’s running from April to June.

Final thoughts
It’s been a few years since Wizards of the Coast has released a D&D map pack like this, with the most recent being the Tactical Maps Reincarnated from 2019. And while the horror theme means you might not be able to use them for every campaign, if you are planning on running a new Ravenloft at the table or on D&D Beyond, they might be worth picking up.
We’ll be providing a full review of both the print and digital versions closer to launch, but in the meantime, you can pre-order the map pack now from your local game store, D&D Beyond and on Amazon.
